Relocating to, or from, the Siouxland area? Here are some resources that can help make the transition easier and less stressful.
Establishing a lending relationship is important and you can start with national lenders like Wells Fargo, US Bank, or Bank of America.
Fortunately, in Siouxland you also have a wide variety of local financial institutions from which to choose. Each of these lenders has a strong local presence and significant portfolio of financial products including mortgage lending, consumer loans, private banking, investment banking, and trust services.
There are many others, of course, but the main thing is to establish a relationship early in the relocation process. Your Realtor should be willing to arrange an initial meeting with a lender and it’s smart to have them involved early so that they can monitor the mortgage loan process for you when, and if, you decide to purchase a home.

The Siouxland area is fortunate to have a wide economic base with career opportunities in many fields with the Siouxland Chamber of Commerce as a primary source of information for business and industry.
The Homebuilders Association is a great group of dedicated craftsmen responsible for building in the area. If you are interested in finding a builder you can’t do better than asking the HBAGS.
A unique and enthusiastic group of young professionals comprise a local association that networks throughout the area and is an invaluable resource for those just relocating to the area. Be sure to check them out here.
